One week til graduation! Ack! I just emailed my brother with directions of how to get to my apartment...what a weird feeling. The rest of finals went well, and I spent Friday doing errands and working at the lab. Saturday was a massively lazy day. Me and Ryan saw Shrek 2, which was cute. The carnival was from 11pm-3am, but we got bored and left before midnight. Sean (Ryan's brother) and Abe (Sean's friend) were with us, and
as we walked past the Engineering Quad, there were police swarming from all directions. Then we went to Shortstop Deli and as we were leaving there was a confrontation between a guy working there and some guy from the street. The employee called the cops, who pulled into the parking lot right behind Ryan's car and asked if we were "part of the incident." We had to wait for them to drive off before we could pull out. Then we ate ice cream sandwiches at Cass Park and tried to watch the lightning, but we couldn't get too good of a view.
Today is Ryan's graduation party in Homer (with Dino BBQ food!) and Casino Night. Since last year I volunteered at both the senior carnival and casino night, it sort of seems like old hat now :/ Hopefully it's not too boring.
